AllCast — Cast photos, music, and video to your Chromecast App Reviews

Never works well if at all on our Roku 3 or Xbox One. DO NIT GIVE THIS DEVELOPER YOUR MONEY. The app hasnt been updated in months and isnt compatible with iOS 9 or iPhone 6s.

This app is great !

Simple and easy to use. The casting is amazing and well done. Would be nice to browse through photo and video albums instead of putting everything together. And a search bar on the music section would be great too! Perhaps make something like the native music app on the iphone, with the alphabet on the right so we can find our music easily. Keep up the good work!

This app is great! My music and photos stream with ease and set up wasnt very difficult. However, my sole qualm is that one of my playlists didnt get synced to the app at all. The songs are there but who has time to pick the individual songs from the playlist? Just a little revision and this app can be great!

Connection failed after multiple attempts..Horrible design. Wil never recommend this app.

Seems to work really well for Chromecast audio. Definitely needs a shuffle option though!

Video playback is blurry.

Does not stream photos and would crash when trying to play music. Might work for other phones. But not on an iphone 5.

No shuffle in music, pictures displayed from Google drive so slow that it is unusable (displays fine on the iPad), upgrade to premium fails with invalid product id, stepping through the songs the art work doesnt change (album cover)

I wrote a very lengthy review about how pleased I am with the product but Apple deleted all of it because I chose a nickname that was already taken. Summarized, you have a great app but the music player needs to be able to shuffle the music.

Exactly what I was looking for!! There were a ton of other apps that only played videos from YouTube or files, but I just wanted to be able to cast personal videos from my phone either Roku or Chromecast. Some others were slow, too, and had connectivity issues. This one also plays slides Hows of photos. Doesnt play music with it but Im OK with it. Can be a little glitch and seems to work better with chromecast than roku, but I do have an older version 2.

I have had no problem with playback on Chromecasts... But never on my Roku or anyone elses. I know the videos Im trying to play are compatible. I reached out to them to no avail.

Still besieged by ads, even after purchasing the AllCast Premium upgrade. Casting music from an iPod Touch is very cumbersome: no ability to browse music by genre, album list solely sorted by title, not by artist. Its really great being able to cast content from an iThing to a Chromecast, but the UI is too annoyingly simple minded for users with sophisticated content.

DONT BUY. Premium is a rip off and theres no refunds.

Cant play mp3 music from my Google drive. It sees the drive and the various folders on my iPad, but the folders all appear empty. Having same problem on iPhone also. No apparent solution.

Native and third-party podcast sources dont appear to be supported currently; tried Overcast and Podcasts.

I downloaded this to work with Chromecast audio and it worked great until I tried using an iPod with a large library. It just kind of hangs at the audio selection screen rendering it useless for me. If you dont have a large library it should work good for you. I didnt try the paid version because it says the only difference is ads not quantity of music able to display.
