Does what it claims, but needs UI refinement

I am really grateful that this app exists. I have spent days trying to find an app that will take the movies and TV shows on my RAVPower Filehub Plus (WD03) and cast them to my Chromecast. My usage scenario is that I want to carry large numbers of shows when we travel to watch in our hotel rooms at night. The Filehub is excellent, and is a DLNA server, so I just needed something to cast those video files to Chromecast. Infuse Pro, which I already had, claims to do it, but it is extremely unreliable for this task, succeeding about 20% of the time. (It is a great app for playback on your iPad, though.) I went through many, many other casting apps but everything either failed completely or was halting and jerky in the playback.

Then I tried this, and it just works! It found my Filehub, browsed the videos and played back everything I tried with it. The playback is smooth and never stutters. It is exactly what I was looking for.

However, the UI has some real issues. The most glaring is that it cannot remember where you are in a video. If you watch part of a movie and come back later, it starts over at the beginning every time. Thats a real pain.

The second is that it will not easily reconnect with the video that is currently being cast. If you leave the app, and return, it does not take you back to the same screen you left. If you navigate to the video that is currently playing, it starts the video all over again. You can, however, still pause and resume using the built-in iPad controls, and I guess thats fine since it doesnt remember your place anyway.

Finally, it would be nice if they would let you save a particular folder as a favorite so you dont have to navigate all through your DLNA folders every time to the same place.

Still, I put these into perspective that this is the only one of half a dozen apps I tried that actually does the task and does it well and reliably. It is well worth the price of the in-app purchase to support the developer.
